Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Student Competition
9th-12th Grade Oratorical Competition
The Oratorical Competition gives students a chance to showcase their oral and written communication skills. The competitions are open to students in grades nine (9) through twelve (12). The competition reflects an increasing need to assist our students with developing and enhancing their oral and written communication skills in order to be competitive in the global workplace.

Member National Training Institute Scholarship -
Paid Registration (Value of $600)
This scholarship opportunity is for one paid registration to attend the National Training Institute hosted by Blacks In Government. All financial members are eligible to apply for this scholarship by submitting an essay that addresses the criteria and why you feel the conference will benefit you.
Criteria
The executive committee will award the scholarship base on the following criteria

Current in membership dues and fees at both the chapter and national level.

Attendance or call-in at least 60% of monthly meetings.

Active participation with the chapter either as a chair, elected officer or member of a committee.

Attend of Participate in at least one Community Service Outreach Initiative.

Attend or Participate in at least one Region XI event or meeting.
-
No Agency funding.
-
Membership history.
-
Ability to self fund travel and lodging.

Ability to participate as a Delegate at the Delegates Assembly on Sunday, prior to the NTI.
